The community that formed on Keyword: Babylon 5 on America Online was a tight, close family. Throughout the course of the series, the same faces were seen year after year. They chatted in the Eclipse Cafe and Fresh Aire Restaurant chat areas, and they formed their own groups to keep in touch once the Babylon 5 area closed.
In one of these groups, a series of drawings appeared by a member, B5 Merlen. These drawings were once intended to be part of a book, or calendar, but when B5 went off the air, Merlen's hopes of having them published all but went away.
